On my kowhaiwhai my dad is the hammerhead mangopare. The shape represents strength, courage and power. I chose the colour red because it represents emotional and intense colour . it is associated with vigour, will power, leadership and courage. My sister and my brother, Jake and Ashley are korus which represent the unfolding of life. Ashley is purple that represents gloom and sad feeling and Jake is green which represents ambition and jealousy. The next one is Angela and me (Abby). We are the koiri which represents both self-reflection and nurturing. The colour represents freshness and joy.
